Basilicata is occupied for the most by mountains covered by lush vegetation and woods, a peaceful landscape perfect for your reaxation, and to enjoy good food all the year round.

In winter, when the snow whiten the highest peaks, it is possoble to practice a wide range of sports like skiing or snowboarding, while in summer those mountains are the ideal destination for those who love walking, climbing, cycling or just reading a good book and relax.

The bravests can experience the “Angel flight” (Volo dell’Angelo): a 120 km/h fly on a deep canyon between the two villages of Pietrapertosa and Catelmezzano, hooked to a steel cable. Other enjoyable ways to spend an holiday in the beautiful nature of this region are: riding a grass scooter, snow tubing, or attempting a drive in a devalkart (a type of go-kart on grass).
