The territory of Trentino Alto Adige, during summer, can be the perfect place for trekking, hiking or climbing experiences, for example along the trails of the Stelvio National Park, in the woods of Fassa Valley, or among the high altitude lakes. The highest peaks can be reached following the well-equipped routes of the Via Alpina, till its many refuges. The Path of Peace (Sentiero della Pace) was created in memory of the First World War.
Lake Garda boasts and enviable microclimate, as testified by the Mediterranean vegetation. This corner of heaven is perfect to practice many different activities: mountain biking, sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving and hiking.
Like every Italian region, in Trentino Alto Adige delicious wines and typical products are produced. Following the many food-and-wine trails it is possible to discover the vineyards of the famous pinot noir grape, the area where spumante sparkling wine and white wines are produced, as well as delicious chestnuts around Lake Varna. The Apple Trail in the Val di Non reveals a unique combination of colors and scents: it is the realm of apples, whose names are known all over the world, from Golden Delicious to Rennet.

The region is also rich in events and traditional celebration: in winter do not miss the typical Christmas markets of Bolzano and Merano, while the festival of San Vigilio takes place in June in the city of Trento.
