In Venice, Italy you will find the most wonderful, accessible hotel. Three generations in the Maggia family have run this extraordinary place.
The Ermitage Bel Air Hotel is a spa hotel since 1889. The owner, Marco Maggia, has known people with disabilities throughout his life and when he followed a rehabilitation program in a medical center due to a sports injury, he noticed the heterogeneity of patients, athletes, elderly, disabled and chronically disabled and how, in times of need, in the act of caring, the differences disappeared. Therefore, he decided to create this social climate in his hotel.
When he met Alessandro from Gondolas4all at a tourism fair in Vicenza, he listened to him and promised immediately he would be by his side.
The Ermitage Bel Air hotel is the place to be when you visit Venice. The hotel Is located In Abano Village, where it is surrounded by hills and natural spa springs (20 m from Venice). And do not forget to go on a gondola experience with Gondolas4all to enjoy the magic of Venice!
GO ON A GONDOLA TOUR
What is Venice without a gondola ride? Perhaps only a half magic. In fact, if the journey is an emotion, a tourist with disabilities can not miss this fantastic experience. Today, finally, the equipped dock to transfer people in wheelchairs on a common gondola is no longer a dream, and all, without exception, may enjoy this beautiful opportunity.
The equipped wharf is located in the Piazzale Roma. The gondola tour can be taken 7 days a week, all year round and up to 3 people can stay in the gondola (1 wheelchair user). All 21 gondoliers working with Gondolas4all followed two training courses for the reception of tourists with disabilities.
Gondolas4all has been founded by Alessandro Dalla Pietà and Enrico Greifenberg
